Now that the new year has progressed to Springtime planning for fundraisers is on the agenda.  This year we will provide our fountain and delicious dark Belgian chocolate for SCRAPS on April 26.  I can't think of a more worthy recipient and am thrilled that we have been included in the "must haves" list for this fun and chocolaty event that will benefit animals and those who love them in Spokane county.  Not everything will be sweet, there will be an array of savory treats as well as goodies for our furry friends and family members.  Save the date and give yourself a treat while helping those without a voice.

Valentine's Day behind us, Spring peeking her head, Mr. Sun shining.  Counting blessings daily and thanking Mother Nature for all of her gifts despite our tendency to abuse her.  May this season bring moments of solitude, messages of thanks and warmth in our hearts.   Enjoy and don't neglect your appetite for chocolate.

I've had some dreams come true and some letdowns in the passing months like everyone else but I am blessed and so very lucky to have the wonderful clients  and friends that support this infinitesimal business.  Old friends and new, we are joyous this season and so very happy to share the chocolate love flowing and warm.  Remember to stop, take time and enjoy those most precious moments with those close to you and always, always have something delicious.  I'm dreaming that this Winter you keep it hot and keep it spicy.

Seasoned Greetings!

First blog on the new website!  Still working on the website but wanted to remember to bring some "chocolate news" to our emerging site.  Everyone knows the economy is sinking and most are struggling to maintain a good lifestyle.  While it can be really tough, it's so important to take care of ourselves.  That starts with good nutrition and the true enjoyment of what we eat.  Dark chocolate is a delicious part of that because it is decadent, special and yet has lots of health benefits I'll continue to talk about as the months move through Winter.  During depressions candy sales are strong and there's good reason for that!  So don't forget to eat healthy whole foods and remember a little treat is part of that and helps to make us feel more content.
